RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- — If you think you know bluegrass, think again. On Saturday, April 4, 2026, Thrasher Opera House is trading “polite” for “pure fire.” We are bringing in two of the most dangerous pickers on the planet: Bronwyn Keith-Hines and Kyle Tuttle.
This isn’t your grandpa’s porch-picking session. This is high-octane, Grammy-winning, boundary-shredding acoustic music.
The Lineup
- Bronwyn Keith-Hines: A literal titan of the fiddle. She’s a two-time IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year and a founding member of Mile Twelve. She doesn’t just play the strings; she commands them.
- Kyle Tuttle: The banjo’s resident mad scientist. Known for his work with Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Kyle is the king of the “shredgrass” movement. He brings rock-and-roll energy to the banjo that’s frankly a little bit reckless (in the best way possible).
The Details
When these two collide, expect lightning-fast improvisations, deep grooves, and the kind of musical chemistry that only happens when two masters decide to tear the roof off.
- When: Saturday, April 4, 2026
- Doors/Show: Music kicks off at 7:30 p.m.
