Two Killed in Winnebago County Crash

RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- A two-vehicle head on collision on State Highway 21 near Winnebago County Highway K Thursday morning claimed the lives of both drivers.

According to Sheriff’s officials deputies arrived at the crash scene in the Town of Rushford minutes after it happened. The sole occupants of the passenger vehicles were the drivers, a 32-year-old Berlin man and 83-year-old Redgranite man.

Assisting agencies included the Winnebago County Highway Department, Omro-Rushford Fire Department and First Responders, Southern Winnebago EMS, and the State Patrol.
