Two Hurt in Dodge County Accident

RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- Both drivers were hurt in a two-vehicle accident on State Highway 16/60 and Pratt Road in Dodge County’s Town of Lowell Monday morning.

Sheriff’s officials say deputies responded shortly after 6:30 to the crash site. According to the initial investigation a 20-year-old Watertown man was driving east on State Highway 16/60, crossed over the center line and struck a westbound pickup truck towing a tandem axle trailer loaded with a mini excavator. A 26-year-old Fond du Lac man was driving the pickup.

A helicopter flew the Watertown man to Froedtert Hospital with serious injuries. The Fond du Lac man was taken to Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam with minor injuries.
