Waupaca County Accident Claims a Life

WAUTOMA, Wis. (WAUH) – The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office learned yesterday that a driver involved in a single-vehicle crash last Friday night has died.

The accident on Southwood Drive and County Highway E in the town of Lind was reported around 8:45 Friday evening. Investigators say the vehicle was heading east on Southwood Drive and struck a tree.

The driver and passenger were extricated from the vehicle and were taken by ambulance to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. The driver died from injuries suffered in the crash.
