Temporary Entrance Notice Enter Library Via Jefferson St. Side Door
Until further notice
During the renovation of the library’s main doors, it will temporarily switch to using the Jefferson Street side door as the entrance. Staff members will happily assist patrons who have mobility challenges with the door as needed! The elevator will still be accessible.
STORYTIME + STAY & PLAY | WEDNESDAYS, NOV 5 – DEC 10 @ 10 AM | KIDS & CAREGIVERS
Storytime combines active learning with fun, bringing early literacy and STEM concepts to life through engaging stories, music, movement, and activities. Each session integrates research findings from Every Child Ready to Read, offering valuable tips, demonstrations of best practices, and essential building blocks to support early literacy development.
After Storytime, enjoy STAY & PLAY in the Romper Room! Kids can burn off extra energy and build their social and physical skills in a lively environment. Caregivers enjoy camaraderie and connections! Storytime and Stay and Play do not require registration.
SUN | NOV 9 | 1-4 PM | Tabletop Role-Playing Game TTRPG TIME | AGES 11+
Looking to roll dice and craft stories with the Ripon community? Join us on the second Sunday of the month for an array of tabletop roleplaying games. We’ll have dedicated game facilitators ready to run one-shots, as well as room for anyone interested in running a session themselves!

Are you ready to put your knowledge to the test? Gather your friends, charge up your smartphones, and head over to Roadhouse Pizza for an exciting Trivia Night designed especially for adults!
Form a team and compete for the ultimate trivia champion title! Bring your smartphones to participate in interactive trivia rounds. Delicious food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
DIY FALL LANTERNS | NOV 15 @ 10:00 AM | TEENS AGES 11-17
Transform tin cans into dazzling lanterns by punching in some snazzy designs and adding your creative flair. Then you’re invited to light up the night with them at the Lantern Walk later that day!
LANTERN WALK | SAT NOV 15| 4:00 – 6:00 PM | All Ages
Don’t miss this annual celebration of community featuring fellowship and fun! Stroll a lantern-lit storywalk on the Northwest Trail with themes of collaboration and kindness. Hang out and get to know your neighbors around the campfire. Come inside for warm and cozy homemade soup, chili, hot beverages, and cookies. Craft lanterns to warm the soul with local artists Carissa Sorensen and Laura Pahlas of Heartwork Studios.
TIP! Visit Christmas in the Village, 11 AM – 4PM downtown, before the Lantern Walk!
TUES | NOV 18 | 1-2:30 PM | MEMORY CAFÉ | ADULTS
This event is designed for family members and full-time caregivers of seniors dealing with mild to moderate cognitive impairment, dementia, or Alzheimer’s. Participants will foster meaningful connections through a variety of activities, including games, music, snacks, crafts, and more.
Both seniors and their caregivers will benefit from assistance, partake in gently guided interactions, connect with others facing similar challenges, and discover local resources available to them.
